Job summary

Giving Home Health Care, LLC is seeking a dedicated HME Service Technician to deliver and set up home medical equipment in patients' homes. The role includes educating caregivers on device usage, ensuring safety, and maintaining equipment to regulatory standards.

This on-call position requires availability outside regular hours, occasional weekends, and owning a vehicle capable of transporting large DME items. Independent contractor status is provided with per-delivery compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Experience delivering or maintaining medical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and assemble HME/DME at patients' homes.
• Install DME/HME items and accessories in patient homes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use and safety.
• Perform equipment checks and ensure functionality and safety.
• Clean, disinfect, and perform basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Respond to on-call requests, including nights/weekends/holidays.
• Document services provided and equipment status per procedures.
