Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare slides for microscopic evaluation by pathologists following policies.
• Perform duties of Histotechnician I and II as appropriate.
• Accession and label tissue samples correctly.
• Process paperwork for accessioning and reporting.
• Embed tissue in paraffin and perform microtomy.
• Prepare slides and perform H&E staining; cover slips.
• Prepare and validate controls for IHC procedures.
