Job summary

McKinley Park Care Center is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will sanitize resident rooms and common areas, mop floors, and manage supplies with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have prior healthcare housekeeping experience or a strong willingness to learn, good communication skills, and physical stamina to perform tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous healthcare housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize public and common areas including lobbies and restrooms.
• Clean resident rooms and bathrooms; sanitize surfaces.
• Sweep, mop floors and wipe walls, mirrors, lights and dispensers.
• Operate cleaning equipment per manufacturer instructions.
• Maintain clean, organized housekeeping carts and storage areas.
• Follow safety protocols and report safety concerns promptly.
