Job summary

Terrestris Global Solutions is seeking a dependable Hazmat CDL Driver to support government contracting operations in and around West Point, NY. You will transport hazardous materials, fuel, and government supplies between military installations and storage yards, while adhering to DOT and hazmat regulations.

This role is temporary and on an as-needed basis, requiring flexibility and readiness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or short-notice assignments as needed for mission success.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Clean driving record with ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Experience operating fuel tankers or transporting hazardous materials.
• Ability to obtain/maintain access to military/government installations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-class vehicles including fuel tankers and hazmat transport.
• Transport hazardous materials, fuel, and mission-related supplies to government and military facilities.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and safety standards.
• Maintain proper placarding, documentation, and handling of hazmat materials.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, DOT, OSHA, and hazmat regulations.
• Coordinate with dispatch, site managers, and government representatives.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and transport documentation.
• Operate professionally on military installations and secure facilities.
