Job summary

Terrestris Global Solutions is seeking reliable, safety-focused CDL Drivers to support government contracting operations on a temporary, on-call basis. You will transport and reposition a variety of government and contractor-owned vehicles and equipment, ensuring compliance with DOT rules and safety standards.

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and coordinate with dispatch to meet mission requirements, with opportunities to work on diverse vehicles and cargo.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B as required by the role.
• Clean driving record with a strong safety commitment.
• Experience transporting heavy equipment, vehicles, or specialized cargo.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-class vehicles including heavy equipment transporters, refrigerated trucks, passenger vehicles, buses, and fuel tankers.
• Secure cargo in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and readiness.
• Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
• Comply with federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety standards.
• Coordinate with dispatch/operations to meet delivery schedules and mission requirements.
• Adapt to changing needs with flexibility and professionalism.
• Handle hazardous materials (if applicable and certified) with proper care.
