Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat digestive disorders in adults (and possibly children).
• Take patient histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as endoscopies and imaging.
• Perform endoscopic procedures when scope allows.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with surgeons and radiologists.
• Educate patients on digestive health and disease prevention.
• Maintain complete medical records.
• Stay updated on gastroenterology advances.
