Aya Locums in Northampton, MA is seeking a locum Gastroenterologist to fill an immediate assignment. This 13‑week position offers day shifts from 08:00 to 17:00 with no call, in an acute care hospital setting.

The physician will diagnose and treat adults, perform endoscopic procedures as needed, manage chronic digestive conditions, and collaborate with surgeons and radiologists. Board certification in gastroenterology and MA license are required; start date 01-08-27.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Residency in internal medicine (ACGME)
• Fellowship in gastroenterology (preferred)

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of digestive system disorders in adults (and potentially children).
• Perform endoscopic procedures to diagnose and treat digestive conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (endoscopies, imaging, labs).
• Develop and implement treatment plans; manage chronic digestive conditions.
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists and other specialists for coordinated care.
