Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a cordial banquet server to assist with event setup, guest greetings, and food and beverage service in our on-site venues.

The role requires attentiveness to catering specifications and teamwork during functions. You will help with condiments, service, and post-event cleanup in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in event catering or banquet service preferred.
• Ability to read and follow catering specs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room according to catering spec sheet.
• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverages to guests using trays.
• Prepare and set up condiments for service.
• Break down banquet room and transport soiled items to dishwashing area.

Job Description

• Set up banquet room in accordance with catering specification sheet; table linens, dishes, silverware, and glassware.
• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverage items to guests using hand-held trays and/or
• Prepare and set up condiments.
• Break down banquet room upon completion of function; remove soiled dishes, glassware and silverware and transport to dishwashing area.
