Job summary

Per Mar Security is seeking a flexible, motivated Flex Security Officer to join our team in Madison. The role requires patrolling premises, controlling access, responding to emergencies, and delivering reliable security services to clients.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, proven security experience, strong communication, and the ability to work variable shifts on short notice. A state security license and driving privileges are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; security-related training preferred.
• MUST HAVE proven experience in security, law enforcement, or related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to calls on short notice.
• Demonstrated reliability and professionalism in previous roles.
• Must be able to obtain a State Security License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols of assigned areas, monitoring for suspicious activity and safety hazards.
• Control access to facilities, verifying credentials and enforcing security protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents, alarms, and security breaches.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security incidents and activities.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
• Collaborate with team members and external partners to address security concerns effectively.
• Stay informed about relevant security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
