Job summary

Middleton Place is seeking a dynamic Flex/On Call Security Officer to provide on-demand security across shifts at our Omaha facility. You will monitor security systems, patrol premises, respond to incidents, and enforce access control to protect staff, visitors, and assets.

The role welcomes candidates with a background in law enforcement, military or security, with first aid/CPR certifications preferred. It requires calm under pressure, strong communication, and the ability to pass background

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is desirable.
• First aid, CPR, and conflict management certifications are preferred; ongoing training is encouraged.
• Familiarity with CCTV surveillance and security protocols is essential.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and coordinating with responders.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Physical fitness for patrols and extended standing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV and patrol the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies as needed.
• Manage access control by verifying identifications for staff and visitors.
• Assist in loss prevention by observing suspicious activity.
• Provide first aid or CPR in emergencies until help arrives.
• Document incidents with detailed reports for compliance.
