Job Description

On Call/Flex Laboratory Assistant - flexible hours: evenings, weekends

• Follow Quality System documents, SOPs, Methods, and Local Policies.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, regulatory, and company standards.
• Perform daily sample testing, including setting up batches, weighing, and recheck identification.
• Prepare solutions, maintain accurate records, and document test data.
• Maintain a safe, clean lab environment and dispose of hazardous waste properly.
• Identify and report method or matrix issues, and suggest improvements.
• Protect proprietary methodologies and stay current with industry trends.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and promote the company's ethical practices.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Problem-solving, independent, and action-oriented mindset.
• Basic understanding of ISO 17025 guidelines.
• High School diploma with 0-3 years experience.
