Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to service our clubs around the greater Raleigh, NC area. Install, maintain and repair fitness equipment while following safety regulations and company standards.

The role requires basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and other systems, proficiency with tools, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. On-call availability, nights and weekends, and valid driver’s license are expected; travel time is reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge about electrical, plumbing and other systems.
• Proficiency with tools and common appliances.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Installing, Maintaining and Repairing fitness equipment independently while abiding by safety regulations
• Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all location
• Inspection of alarm systems
• Partnering with other companies to schedule maintenance as needed
• Ability to be on call for maintenance emergencies
• Available for nights and weekends
• Travel will be necessary; valid driver's license required; company provides vehicle
• Reimbursement for travel time
