Job summary

Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation seeks an On-Call Facility Maintenance Worker II for the Tribal School. The role involves custodial duties to ensure sanitation and cleanliness of restrooms, classrooms, hallways, and grounds, with power equipment usage as needed.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, maintenance, and after-hours event support. Must have a high school diploma, two years custodial experience, CPR/First Aid, and pass background checks plus fingerprinting.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of custodial experience.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Fingerprint check and pre-employment background check required.
• Valid Washington Driver's License with Yakama Nation driving permit.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial cleaning including restrooms, floors, and surfaces; sanitize and replenish supplies.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as auto scrubber, buffers, vacuums, and burnishing machines.
• Replace light bulbs, wash windows, and apply floor finish; polish floors.
• Clean lunchroom and classrooms; secure building after events and after-hours.
• Maintain security of buildings and coordinate with team to stay on schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally; climb ladders as needed.
