YMCA of Greater Nashua is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist at the Nashua Branch. This full-time, non-exempt role maintains the physical condition of multiple branches, performs building and grounds tasks, and supports emergency response.

The position offers variety, teamwork, and opportunities to improve community facilities. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will manage work orders, assist with cleaning, track licenses, and coordinate with program directors for events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5 years experience in facilities management.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; carpentry and maintenance.
• Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Safely and effectively use basic hand tools for routine tasks.
• Complete branch/association-wide work orders promptly and communicate with stakeholders.
• Serve as primary contact for third party providers for maintenance and repair of building systems.
• Assist housekeeping staff with daily cleaning and upkeep of facilities.
• Maintain supply and maintenance closets, tools and equipment safely and orderly.
• Manage cleaning and maintenance supply inventory within budgeted funds.
• Respond to facility maintenance and cleaning issues as they arise.
• Coordinate licenses and permits with the Properties Director and ensure they are up to date.
• Coordinate with Program Directors to support events and room setups.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written, as required.
