Job summary

Playbook in Phoenix is seeking an on-call Event Support Associate to ensure top-tier guest experiences for a variety of events and meetings. You will assist with space readiness, setup, and on-site coordination to deliver five-star service across Class A venues.

Shifts are primarily on weekends, with some occasional weekday coverage. The role reports to the Senior Tenant Experience Director and pays $25.00 per hour. Join a dynamic team focused on hospitality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in venue operations, hospitality, events management, or premium guest-facing environments (e.g., hotels, conference centers, event venues, workplace hospitality).
• Hands-on experience with event execution and day-of operations, including troubleshooting issues and adapting quickly when plans change.
• Proven experience delivering five-star service in high-volume or high-touch environments.
• Adaptable and confident learning new systems for membership and program management.
• Creative and solutions-oriented, with an eye for presentation and the ability to identify thoughtful ways to elevate spaces, events, and the overall experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-of operational support for events and meetings held across a variety of Class A office building venues, including conference rooms and outdoor patio areas.
• Support pre-event setup and post-event tear down, including space configurations, furniture placement, décor setup, and operational walkthroughs to ensure all venues consistently meet hospitality and presentation standards, vendor coordination. Welcome guests upon arrival, assist with check-in, and help create a seamless onsite experience throughout events and reservations.
• Support seamless event execution through real-time coordination with catering, décor, music, janitorial, security, and additional operational partners throughout the event lifecycle.
