Compass Group USA in New York, NY is seeking a Catering Attendant for an on-call position at The MET. Two years of catering experience is required. A valid driver's license and food handler's permit or alcohol servers' permit may be needed depending on state law.

Pay ranges from $21.00 to $26.00 per hour. The role involves delivering and serving food at scheduled events, setting up and breaking down functions, and ensuring clean, safe work areas and accurate event execution.

Qualifications

• Two years of catering experience required.
• Valid driver's license may be required; must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.

Responsabilités

• Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision of the catering captain.
• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Arranges buffet tables with food, beverages and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly cleans location after event is completed.
• Returns food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Stocks, cleans and maintains catering facility and equipment.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand.
