Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring on-call Catering Attendants for events at the Inova Conference Center, Fairfax, VA. The role requires a on-call schedule with hours varying by business needs and requires prior catering experience and a valid food handler's or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.

Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. Free meals, uniforms and laundering services are provided at select locations, with extensive associate benefits and ongoing training to

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in catering or related food service.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Arranges buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly cleans location after event is completed.
• Returns food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards for catered functions.
