Job summary

West Coast Code Consultants, Inc. (WC3) is seeking a part-time, on-call inspector to join our Building Safety team in Lynnwood, WA. The role focuses on electrical and/or mechanical inspections for commercial and residential buildings to ensure NEC, RCW, and WAC compliance.

Local travel is required, with duties spanning field inspections and records in the office as needed. The ideal candidate is a certified commercial journeyman electrician (EL01) with four years of experience, strong code

Qualifications

• Certified commercial electrician (EL01) with four years of journey level experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, RCW 19.28, and WAC 296-46B.
• Familiarity with Washington State Building Codes is preferred.
• Valid WA state driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Read plans and perform site inspections of commercial, multifamily, and single-family buildings.
• Prepare and coordinate correction reports based on inspections.
• Travel locally to inspection sites as needed.
• Maintain safety on construction sites and document inspection results.
