Job summary

Asante in Medford, OR seeks an EKG Equipment Technician to support respiratory care with equipment cleaning, assembly, stocking, and ECGs across patient ages.

The role requires on-call availability with variable shifts and weekend work; strong problem-solving, accurate data entry, and teamwork are essential. Training in respiratory care preferred; AHA BLS certification may be required on start.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited 2-year Respiratory Care Practitioner training program is highly preferred.
• Data entry, DOS, Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing experience.
• Previous healthcare provider experience.
• Recent employment establishing decision making ability and/or mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating the ability to perform Electrocardiograms based on established policies, procedures, or orders in a timely manner.
• Using sound clinical judgment and effective problem-solving abilities during the implementation of patient care.
• Performs rapid assessment to determine changing priorities and coordinates resources for effective response in emergent situations.
• Communicating data obtained from ECGs as appropriate to other healthcare team members.
