Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Disaster Recovery / Grant Management / Public Assistance Consultants to join our Disaster Recovery team supporting operations across the United States. This on-call, as-needed role may be remote, onsite, or hybrid depending on project requirements.

You will provide technical expertise, grants management support, and compliance guidance to help communities recover while adhering to laws and program rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of FEMA Public Assistance experience.
• Knowledge of FEMA PA policy, eligibility requirements, and the PAPPG.
• Experience with project formulation, PW development, and grant documentation review.
• Experience responding to FEMA RFIs and reimbursement requests.
• Willingness to travel throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Serve as advisor to applicants through FEMA PA lifecycle.
• Assist with Preliminary Damage Assessments, Recovery Scoping Meetings, and Damage Inventory.
• Develop FEMA Project Worksheets and Grants Manager submissions.
• Support Category A-G projects and Cost Estimating Format development.
• Review disaster damages, costs, and documentation for eligibility.
• Maintain accurate records in grant management systems and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
