Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking Disaster Recovery / Grant Management / Public Assistance Consultants to support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster programs. Work spans on-call deployments nationwide, with remote, onsite, or hybrid assignments depending on project needs.

You will provide technical grants management, analysis, and compliance guidance to help maximize recovery funding while adhering to laws and program requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years FEMA Public Assistance experience.
• Knowledge of FEMA PA policy, eligibility, and PAPPG.
• Experience with project formulation, PW development, and grant documentation review.
• Experience responding to RFIs and with reimbursements/closeout.
• Experience using FEMA Grants Manager/Grants Portal.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to applicants through the FEMA PA lifecycle.
• Assist with Preliminary Damage Assessments, Recovery Scoping, and cost documentation.
• Develop FEMA Project Worksheets and portal submissions.
• Support Category A-G projects and CE/F cost estimating.
• Review damages and documentation for eligibility and compliance.
• Maintain records in grant management systems and QA reviews.
