Job summary

SERVPRO Team Toft in Hartford, CT is seeking a Mitigation Technician to respond to water, fire, mold, storm, and other property damage emergencies. You’ll perform water extraction, demolition, debris removal, cleaning, and restoration, set up and monitor drying equipment, and document progress with our field software.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to obtain IICRC certification.
• Ability to work on-call including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water, fire, mold, storm emergencies.
• Perform water extraction, demolition, debris removal, cleaning, and restoration.
• Set up, monitor, and maintain drying equipment.
• Document progress using company software.
• Load, maintain, and organize vehicles, equipment, and materials.
• Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and management.
• Follow all SERVPRO procedures and safety standards.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedules for emergency response.
