Job summary

Qualifications

• Training and care of residents with multiple disabilities.
• Daily log maintenance and reporting responsibilities.
• Adherence to Personal Care Home guidelines and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Engages residents in activities of choice aligned with ISP goals.
• Provides transportation and supervision as required by the program.
• Records daily activities and resident needs in logs.
• Ensures personal hygiene and grooming for residents.
• Performs lifting and positioning with safety considerations.
• Inspects home at shift start for safety and reports deficiencies.
• Conducts fire and weather evacuation drills as directed.
• Follows emergency plans for various scenarios.
• Cleans and sanitizes appliances, surfaces, and rooms daily.
• Cooks and prepares meals.
• Reports equipment issues to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with rules and confidentiality requirements.
