Job summary

City of Seattle’s Seattle Center Armory is seeking intermittent Dining Room Attendants to clean the dining area. This on-call role has no guaranteed hours and shifts vary by events, including weekends and holidays, with higher demand during major festivals.

Successful candidates will have experience in commercial dining or janitorial work, the ability to interact with a diverse range of patrons, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial dining rooms, food service, or janitorial settings.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to interact with diverse patrons in a helpful, courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• Monitor dining area and clean tables using supplies.
• Empty garbage, compost and recyclables and clean receptacles up to 25 pounds.
• Sweep, dust mop, and mop floors; adjust tables and chairs for safety and order.
