Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
• Use ultrasound equipment; ensure proper patient positioning and scanning.
• Manage digital images for interpretation.
• Implement patient charges.
• Assist physician as required.
• Be available for emergency on‑call procedures.
• Recognize need for pain control and help prevent or reduce patient pain when possible.
