Job summary

Disinfectant Solutions of Atlanta is seeking an On-Call Custodian to support cleaning operations at MARTA stations across the metro Atlanta area. This role is on-site only and requires reliability, flexibility, and the ability to respond quickly to short-notice calls for coverage.

Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work evenings, weekends, and possible overnight shifts, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate pressure washing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Clean platforms, entrances, restrooms, stairwells, elevators, and public areas
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions promptly
• Assess cleaning needs and use appropriate cleaning agents and techniques
• Follow all company policies and OSHA safety standards
• Read and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and cleaning solution labels
• Measure and mix cleaning solutions according to company guidelines
• Inspect areas after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met
• Complete cleaning logs, compliance documentation, and inventory reports
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding shift updates and site needs
• Respond professionally in high-traffic public environments
• Participate in required training sessions
