Job summary

Disinfectant Solutions of Atlanta is seeking an On-Call Custodian to support cleaning operations at MARTA stations across the metro Atlanta area. This on-site role requires reliability, flexibility, and the ability to cover call-outs, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts as needed.

You will operate cleaning equipment, sanitize platforms, restrooms, and public areas, maintain logs, and follow OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
• Experience with pressure washing equipment is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Must be dependable and responsive to on-call scheduling.
• Comfortable working in public transportation environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate pressure washing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Clean platforms, entrances, restrooms, stairwells, elevators, and public areas
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions promptly
• Assess cleaning needs and use appropriate cleaning agents and techniques
• Follow all company policies and OSHA safety standards
• Read and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and cleaning solution labels
• Measure and mix cleaning solutions according to company guidelines
• Inspect areas after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met
• Complete cleaning logs, compliance documentation, and inventory reports
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding shift updates and site needs
• Respond professionally in high-traffic public environments
• Participate in required training sessions

Disinfectant Solutions of Atlanta is seeking a reliable and flexible On-Call Custodian to support cleaning operations at MARTA stations throughout the metro Atlanta area. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, responsive, and able to work on short notice to cover call-outs, special projects, or increased service needs. This role plays a critical part in maintaining safe, sanitary, and welcoming environments in high-traffic public transportation facilities. Availability, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Please note: This is an on-site role and is not eligible for remote work.
