Job summary

The School District of Washington is seeking on-call Custodian staff in Washington, MO to work 1-3 shifts per week or for events. The position is part-time, $15.00 per hour, and overtime eligible beyond 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms and common areas, performing minor repairs, and supporting event setup. This role requires reliability and ability to respond to emergencies as needed. Training and safety guidelines will be provided by the Buildings & Grounds team.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial work preferred.
• Safety or chemical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and preserve designated spaces and equipment in the building.
• Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas including dusting, trash, vacuuming, and windows.
• Scrub, mop, disinfect and polish hard surfaces in floors and restrooms.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with events and emergencies as needed.
• Maintain reliable attendance per schedule.
