Job summary

The School District of Washington is seeking full-time Custodian positions at Washington High School in Washington, Missouri. The starting pay range is $15.25 to $18.41 per hour, with benefits, vacation, and retirement eligibility.

The position follows a 12-month calendar and reports to the Custodial Supervisor and Building Administrator. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas, performing minor repairs, and maintaining supplies.

Qualifications

• Experience in this area of expertise preferred.
• Safety, chemical, or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and preserve designated spaces, equipment, etc. in the building.
• Clean classrooms, offices, libraries, restrooms and common areas including but not limited to dusting, emptying trash receptacles, vacuuming and washing windows.
• Scrub, mop, disinfect and polish hard-surfaced floors in restrooms, cafeteria, hallways, classrooms, etc., as required.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs.
• Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
• Regular and reliable attendance as it aligns to the scope of the position.
