Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a reliable Cleaner, On Call, to support custodial operations in a Boston area facility. The role reports to the Custodial Manager or Supervisor and involves a broad range of cleaning duties across common areas and offices.

Responsibilities include floor care, window and surface cleaning, restroom stocking, and daily waste removal. Training is provided, and the position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and consistent service delivery.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities requires no previous experience.
• Able to take direction and work with minimal supervision in a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Able to use a portable backpack vacuum cleaner.
• Must show attention to detail and provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and surfaces inside buildings.
• Operate floor buffers and shampoo machines with attachments.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean and shampoo as directed.
• Clean windowsills, glass, and interior doors; wash/spot clean walls.
• Clean bathrooms and restock supplies daily; damp wipe glass surfaces and dispose waste.
• Monitor for defects (clogged urinals, lights out) and report to supervisors.
• Collect and place trash in designated areas; replace liners as needed.
• Sweep or shovel snow from entrances and walkways as directed.
• Perform high dusting, leather/wood polishing, and wall washing as required.
