Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties as assigned and on daily schedule.
• Handle hazardous waste: collect, classify, sort, store, ship and label.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and maintain area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Work in a team; fill in during staff shortages; complete punch lists.
• Present professional appearance and conduct; communicate respectfully with customers.

Title:On Call CustodianJob Description:Compensation and Shift:$28.00 per hourMonday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PMJob OverviewThe Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Perform janitorial dutiesPerform all duties listed on the daily schedulePerform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.Operate motorized cleaning equipmentMaintain daily upkeep of assigned areaReport incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisorComply with safety rules, policies, and proceduresStop at risk behavior of others and selfPerform work assignments in a team with other employeesPerform repetitive tasksMaintain clean work areaFollow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rulesTake direction and respond to supervisionTalk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional mannerFill in during staff shortageSupport shift lead in completing punch-list itemsUse proper personal protective equipmentPresent a professional appearance and conductUnderstand customer service and satisfactionUnderstand reporting systems, and of the environmentQualificationTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
