Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is looking for a responsible individual to join their team as a delivery support staff member. You will be picking up, transporting, and delivering samples, as well as preparing vehicles for daily operations, all while promoting a collaborative work environment.

Compensation: $16.50 per hour.

Hours: Monday through Friday, on call with availability between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

The salary for this position reflects a variety of factors. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. Market conditions, budgetary considerations, and organizational compensation guidelines may also influence the final offer.

What You’ll Do

• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, and materials as needed.
• Prepare your assigned vehicle for daily operations, including documentation, safety checks, and basic maintenance.
• Provide support and assistance to staff and management related to sample transport procedures.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and customer‑focused work environment aligned with Pace® values.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a related role is preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to maintain all required licenses and certifications.
• Knowledge of safe driving, customer service, and sample transport principles.
• Ability to learn and follow organizational policies, procedures, and transportation protocols.
• Comfort using basic computer applications and maintaining documentation accurately.
• Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good judgment, professionalism, and discretion when interacting with others.

Candidate MUST feel comfortable driving in and out of the Washington D.C. area during the weekday.
