Job summary

Health Right 360 is seeking an On-Call Cook to support the North County Serenity House Residential program. You will prepare nutritious meals, follow the production menu, and help ensure food safety and sanitation in a trauma-informed setting.

Responsibilities include ordering within budget, managing inventories, driving the food services van, and training clients in kitchen safety and protocols. This role requires a California driver’s license and a commitment to teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Current certification in food safety and sanitation.
• Valid California driver’s license and access to insured transportation.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and adherence to the production menu.
• Prepare meals for residents and special events.
• Drive Food Services van to transport meals and supplies between facilities.
• Manage food storage, proper refrigeration, and inventory control.
