Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary school or formal culinary training is a plus.
• ServSafe Manager/ServSafe Food Handler/Alcohol Awareness CPR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and cook meals for residents following recipes and nutritional guidelines.
• Ensure meals are safely prepared, attractively presented, and served on time.
• Modify recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions and communicate with residents on preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with health department regulations.
• Oversee kitchen operations, including prep, cooking, plating, and storage.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with staff to ensure smooth meal service.
