Job summary

Infinite Consulting Corp is seeking a part-time Construction Safety Inspector to perform on-call site inspections across New York City construction sites. You will conduct 8-hour safety audits, review activities for NYC Building Code and DOB permit compliance, and assess OSHA 1926 adherence.

Ideal candidates bring at least 5 years of field safety experience, NYC SST 62-hour card, and current OSHA certifications, with the ability to travel across boroughs and communicate findings clearly to

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
62-Hour NYC SST Card.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry (within last 5 years).
8-Hour Confined Space - Construction
16-Hour Suspended Scaffold
4-Hour Supported Scaffold

Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled and on-call 8-hour safety audits on active NYC construction sites.
Evaluate compliance with NYC Building Code Chapter 33, DOB permit conditions, and Site Safety Plans.
Review ongoing work activities for OSHA 1926 standards compliance.
Identify hazards, unsafe practices, and regulatory violations.
Prepare detailed, photo-supported audit reports with corrective actions.
Communicate findings with project managers, site supervisors, and safety personnel.
Follow up on deficiencies as required.
Promote safe work practices and safety culture across teams.
