Job summary

Propark Mobility is seeking an On-Call Shuttle Driver CDL at our Vacaville location. The role requires a CDL Class-C with passenger endorsement and a current medical card. You will drive shuttle buses, assist passengers, perform safety inspections, and coordinate with dispatch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have had a valid Driver’s License for at least 5 years.
• Must currently possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class-C with passenger endorsement.
• Must be able to provide a MVR for the past 3 years.
• One year experience driving shuttle bus or commercial vehicles preferred.
• Ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment depending on customer volume, shift, season, etc.
• Possess positive and professional attitude with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
• Greets passengers and aids with loading and unloading.
• Operates the shuttle bus safely and complies with traffic and safety regulations.
• Monitors vehicle condition and logs issues.
• Communicates with dispatchers using a two-way radio.
• Performs pre/post trip inspections of shuttle buses.
• Monitors traffic and weather and notifies dispatch of issues.
• Reports accidents or safety situations to dispatch.
• Treats customers courteously and professionally.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities (including But Not Limited To)

• Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
• Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading.
• Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
• Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms.
• Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announcing arrivals and delays, coordinating the pick-up of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise.
• Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions.
• Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
• Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
• Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Minimum Job Qualifications

• High school degree or GED equivalent.
• Must have possessed a valid Driver’s License for at least 5 years.

• Must be able to provide a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past 3-years.
• One year experience driving shuttle bus or commercial vehicles preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment depending upon customer volume, shift, season, etc.

Must Haves

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 2 years.
• Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
