Valley Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Castro Valley, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for On-Call PM/NOC shifts. This role offers competitive compensation ranging from $22.50 to $25.00 per hour DOE, with on-site responsibilities and a commitment to resident-centered care.

As part of a team recognized for Five-Star Medicare ratings, you will assist with ADLs, document care, monitor vital signs, and support nurses in implementing care plans.

Qualifications

• CA CNA license in good standing is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Candidate should be resident-focused and compassionate.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation and repositioning using safety techniques.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor residents' conditions.
• Document high-quality care accurately and timely.
• Support nurses in implementing personalized care plans.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and provide emotional support.
