Job summary

Valley Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Castro Valley, CA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our on-call PM and NOC teams. You will assist residents with ADLs, help with transfers, and monitor vital signs in a five-star, boutique setting.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in California in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing is preferred but new grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation and repositioning using safe techniques.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to licensed nurses.
• Assist nurses in implementing personalized care plans.
• Provide accurate, timely documentation of care.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and provide compassionate support to residents and families.
