Job summary

Baywood Court in Castro Valley, CA is seeking a dedicated CNA for the 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm PM shift in our 24/7 skilled nursing facility. This full-time role offers competitive starting pay and a path to advancement within a not-for-profit community.

Qualifications

New CNAs are welcome.
Must be able to write and document in the ADL’s Form.
Current CNA certificate or proof of passing written and skills tests.
Current CPR certification.
Must meet health and TB clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, exercising and range of motion.
Assist residents with transfers and ambulation under therapist direction.
Perform procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, enemas, and admissions/discharges.
Deliver care with dignity, autonomy and non-discrimination.
Respond to call lights promptly and anticipate residents' needs.
