Job summary

Bayview is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care in the Assisted Living Unit. You will observe health status, document changes, and support residents to achieve their highest functioning within their care plans.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, transfers, bathing, dressing, and meals, while maintaining a clean environment and accurate health records. ACS emphasis on compassion and safety.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as NAC in Washington State.
• CPR and First Aid Certification current.
• DSHS Mental Health Specialty and Dementia Specialty certificates present.
• Knowledge of transmission modes of infectious diseases and universal precautions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents’ activities of daily living and basic medical tasks.
• Document health observations and reporting changes in residents’ condition.
• Assist residents with transfers, bathing, dressing and ambulation.
• Take vital signs and record information.
• Assist in dining and personal grooming; maintain clean, safe environment.
• Assist in care plan implementation and document care provided.
• Support residents psycho-socially and uphold Residents’ Rights.
