Qualifications

• Minimum: State certified, licensed or accredited by a professional trade organization.
• No teaching experience required, however, if candidate is not state certified, he/she must have practical experience in the subject/trade area.
• Must have the ability to transfer topical knowledge to meet specific learning objectives.
• Preferred: Extensive practical knowledge of trade and teaching experience.
• Knowledge: Methods to instill appropriate behavior, work and study habits in adolescent students; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
• Promotes a positive classroom atmosphere to motivate students.
• Maintains discipline to maximize learning.
• Establishes high student/instructor rapport.
• Utilizes curriculum resources.
• Maintenance of student personnel folders.
• Follows attendance and accountability processes.
• Attends required training.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
