Solairus Aviation seeks a seasoned Citation XLS+ Captain to lead safe, passenger-focused flight operations from our Fort Lauderdale base (KFXE). This full-time, on-call role requires reviewing maintenance, completing pre-flight checks, and briefing trips with weather and NOTAMs while adhering to FARs and company policies.

Requirements include 3,000+ total hours with PIC and MEL experience, a current FAA First Class Medical, and a willingness to relocate or live within two hours of KFXE for quick

Qualifications

Total time: 3,000+ hours required.
PIC time: 1,500+ hours required.
MEL: 1,500+ hours; MEL PIC: 500 hours.
Turbojet: 500 hours; Instrument: 250 hours.
Citation XLS+ type rating or equivalent.
Current FAA First Class Medical.

Responsibilities

Captain the Citation XLS+ with safety, professionalism, and service.
Review maintenance status and ensure airworthiness before departure.
Conduct pre-flight inspections per Aircraft Flight Manual.
Plan and brief trips with weather, NOTAMs, routes and alternates.
Comply with Solairus policies and FARs.
Safeguard passengers, crew, and aircraft during flight.
Complete trip documentation and post-flight paperwork.
