Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking on-call Child Care Attendants at Advocate Condell Centre Club in Gurnee, IL. You will create a safe, engaging environment for children while parents use the facility, with shifts varying across days.

Responsibilities include greeting parents, planning age-appropriate activities, supervising play, keeping children safe, and sanitizing toys. Requirements include 18+, CPR/AED/First Aid within 30 days, customer service experience, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge and experience with young children preferred.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Flu vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Greet parents, interact with them and follow up on child needs.
• Plan age-appropriate activities and supervise play.
• Observe and engage children in developmental activities.
• Ensure children are safe and engaged in activities.
• Participate in activities: reading, painting, crafts, play.
• Sanitize toys and play equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
