Job summary

HealthFitness is hiring on-call Child Care Attendants for the Advocate Condell Centre Club in Gurnee, IL. You will create a safe, engaging environment for children while parents enjoy the facility, contributing to families’ well-being.

Qualifications include being 18+, CPR/AED/First Aid within 30 days, and preferred experience with young children and customer service. Flu vaccination is required; shifts vary.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR/AED/first aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with young children preferred.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Ability to multi-task quickly and accurately.
• Computer proficiency including MS Word and Outlook.
• Flu vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Greeting each parent and interacting with parents; follow up the needs of the child.
• Plan activities for children and assist with age-appropriate games and tasks.
• Observe and play with children.
• Ensure children are safe and engaged in developmental activities.
• Participate in child activities: reading, painting, crafts, play.
• Sanitize toys and play equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
