Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required.
• Experience as a Summer Camp Counselor for at least one full Summer with the City of Parkland.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of each child under supervision.
• Supervise and organize games and activities for children.
• Escort children using walking or bus transportation.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times.
• Maintain quality of supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain high health and safety standards for children and staff.
• Interact professionally with parents and guardians.
• Supervise orderly arrival and departure of children.
• Represent the City positively in public interactions.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
