Job summary

Volare Health, LLC at Rose Haven Nursing Center in Roseburg, OR is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for PRN on-call shifts. Starting wage ranges from $25.18 to $32.45 per hour based on experience.

You will provide respectful, individualized care, monitor vital signs, and support residents in daily activities while upholding care plans, safety, and dignity.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing with the State of Oregon.
• Completion of required in-service education (typically 12 hours annually).
• Recent clinical experience or CNA training program completion.
• Availability to work 1-2 shifts per week, including at least 2 weekend shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, compassionate, and personalized care.
• Assist residents with bathing, hygiene, grooming and dressing.
• Take and document vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, BP).
• Follow care plans to promote comfort, dignity and safety.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe living spaces.
• Support residents in achieving independence and well-being.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Providing respectful, compassionate, and personalized care
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Taking and accurately documenting vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
• Following individualized care plans and promoting each resident's comfort, dignity, and safety
• Maintaining clean, organized, and safe resident living spaces
• Supporting residents in reaching their highest level of independence and well-being
• Performing other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

• Current CNA certification in good standing with the State of Oregon and maintained throughout employment
• Completion of required in-service education (typically 12 hours annually)
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Recent clinical experience or successful completion of a CNA training program
• Availability to work 1-2 shifts per week, including at least 2 weekend shifts per month, is required
• A compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach to resident care
