Job summary

Qualifications

• National board certification in related field required (NBNP or CNM).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional care for delivery-related services.
• Perform prenatal history and physical examinations.
• Complete prenatal care of normal obstetric patients.
• Diagnose onset of labor and perform admission H&P.
• Educate patient and family on health adjustments.
• Coordinate care with the health care team and hand off information.
• Ensure complete and thorough documentation for all services.
• Plan and organize care to meet patient needs and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to maintain communication.
• Maintain current expertise in Midwifery Practice and APP nursing.
