Job summary

Restaurant Associates is seeking an on-call Catering Captain for Morgan Stanley in Purchase, NY. This role coordinates catering staff and ensures all functions are delivered, served and cleared in a timely fashion, with duties including preparation and serving of food at scheduled events.

Responsibilities may include driving a truck for deliveries, supervising staff, and maintaining HACCP standards while upholding sanitation and safety throughout service hours.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure functions are delivered on time.
• Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to events.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a service-oriented manner.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
