Levy Sector at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia is seeking a Catering Bartender for on-call shifts. The position offers a $20 pay rate per hour, with flexible events-based scheduling and perks like Instapay and a robust savings program through the EVEN app.

As part of a great team, you will prepare and serve beverages, manage bar stock, and ensure compliance with liquor laws while delivering friendly, timely service to guests during catered events.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up assigned bars; stocks beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
• Maintains stock and prepares garnishes, juices and perishables to ensure product quality.
• Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Takes and processes drink orders; mixes, garnishes and serves drinks using standard recipes; manages portions.
• Checks IDs to verify age.
• Receives cash from guests, makes change, and records charges properly.
• Locks up beverage products and cash drops; secures bank.
• Performs cleaning tasks to meet health and safety standards; keeps area tidy.
• Arranges bottles and glasses for an attractive bar display.
• Washes and sterilizes stemware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
