Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring on-call Catering Attendants for events at Trinity College in Hartford. Pay ranges from $26.35 to $26.85 per hour with on-call nights and weekdays; employment is on a casual/part-time basis. Responsibilities include delivering and serving food, setting up functions, and returning unused items to the facility.

Prior front-of-house and food & beverage experience is required. Drivers license may be required; food handler’s permit or alcohol servers’ permit as per state

Qualifications

• Prior front-of-house and food & beverage experience is required.
• Valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly cleans location after event is completed.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment.
